Hey everyone, my first post here, been a big reader on here for almost a year and quietly kept my car showroom clean - the autopia store is top notch 100% - I'll try and get better and closeup pictures in the sunlight, but it's raining constantly here, so it probably won't be for a little while. These pictures were taken inbetween rains, if you look close at the driveway you can still see wet spots haha.

Here's a list of my products:

Sonus green clay

p21s paintwork cleanser

KAIO+SG(x2)

p21S wax(x2)

Ultimate gloss detail spray

sonus tire gel

+a horde of other sonus/meguiars/ultimate products for washing and interior cleaning. I plan on stripping it clean and going back over it when the weather is better because I know there are some swirls hiding under there I can get to with my new incandescent light. I'm also planning on upgrading to an orbital, but I'm getting a little pride out of hand maintenance so far. That Mazda Tribute in the background just got handed to me as a work vehicle, and I don't think it's EVER been detailed... and it's driving me crazy, but too much work for me to do both cars by hand... sooo.... :bigups - I also have higher rez pics if anyone knows a better host, the originals are 3600+ x 2400+ - but click to go bigger

well thanks, but you'd be surprised, it's on part of the few acre plot my mother-in-law owns next door to her house, it's flat for about an acre and drops down about 20ft to nothing but trees for a few more acres. I'd like to go to the lake in the area, and the old stone railroad tunnel... but pics'll come soon

Nice ride/work!

You may want to step up to some Menzerna Final Polish II on the PC to take out your light swirls. I think it would do wonders for that color.

Added the modifications to my Garage - check it out, lots of work done so far and my eyes keep getting bigger about what else I can do!

Just wondering what your luck has been with the Scion paint. We have a Nautical Blue tC, and it seems to get scratch marks from just looking at it. I've used scratchX with some luck, but some of the spots must have gotten hit pretty hard and are missing paint in like a 5mm circle :( Yours does look very nice though! Paint looks nice and wet :goodjob

My take on my TC's paint, the clearcoat is fragile, and I do have some nasty rock chips in the bottom of my front bumper that go down to the primer, but because of the expansion primer they use on bumpers, I could expect that. I DO have a rock chip on the front of my hood and on my front quarter panel down to the primer as well, and that's on metal. I've owned it for 1yr 9mo @ 18,000mi and I think 2 rock chips outside of the bumper cover is mighty fine.

I think it's because of how crazy Toyota has been lately in the makeup of their paint and the harms against the enviornment. Bah.
