A 6 MILLION candlepower spotlight!

My brother gave it to me for Christmas (today  ).

It even comes with a shoulder strap cuz it's so huge! LOL

I put it next to the 5qt bucket to show how huge the lens is.

HOLY JEEBUS thats huge!!!:shocked I need to get one of those, I could really scare the crap out my friends when they go offroading at night:D

Very cool , you won't miss anything under that light. If you can , find out where your brother got it , I'd like to pick one of those up for my shop. thanks

No problem. I'll ask him when he gets back on Sunday. He took the spotlight with him on a camping trip this weekend.

Yeah...he gave it to me late and then asks to take it with him.

I have something similar but I still find flourecent lighting and a plain incandescent bulb in a trouble light works best for me on my white car

It's great for camping... he has the power to summon daylight at any hour of the night.

Yeah that's where he got it....The Sportsmans Guide.

Mine also has the two hands-free stands too. That's basically it. I believe mine was $35 though. :nixweiss

Can't complain with a $5 discount. :up

It's actual use will be mostly for camping. I could use it for swirls. Will I? We'll see how perfect I want to be in the springtime.

They sell a 10 million candle power light at Costco. You should go check it out there, wasn't sure about the price, I was just surprised on how strong the thing was.

Swirl Hunter, lmao. If I can't see them with no tools I don't want to see them. Next ya'll gonna get a microscope, lol.

Before I started using "extreme measures" to spot marring, I'd think the finish was perfect, only to be unpleasantly surprised later (e.g., under unusual lighting at night). I want my vehicles to look good in *all* the lighting conditions in which I use them, and actually, yeah, I use magnification sometimes too.

Pays off in "regular" lighting if you're particular enough. I had my S8 parked next to an *identical* one. Same year, color, etc. His was professionally detailed and you couldn't see any significant marring on it in normal daylight. But it just didn't look nearly as good as mine did (and I'm not talking about some subtle difference in LSP either). After it got dark, I lit up both cars with a good flashlight. His had lots of fine marring after all, mine didn't. That's what really caused the difference in their appearance, which is the same difference between my S8 and my wife's A8. Same color, both look good, but the stuff that doesn't show in "normal" light makes hers look a bit less impressive. It's all a matter of degree. Silver almost always looks good under fluorescent lighting, but that's not good enough for some of us ;)

Nice spot light, I think the one at Costco is Thor or something along those lines.

Battery life for these monsters isn't superb, so when I go at it. I like 1000 watt work lights available at Home Depot/Lowes.

My brother used it on a camping trip and he said it lasted for about 1 hour of constant use. They used it to light the woods while they gathered firewood.
