Worked on a supercharged SC400 today. History of the paint, about 2 years old, with " over 70 hours of wetsanding". I somehow doubt it, but it does look pretty flat.
Paint job itself is rather funny, way too soft, and was burnt rather badly in some places. Oh well.
Exterior got:
Paint was so soft, I had to work with a very weak product, so I used Megs #82 on polishing pad via rotary. x3
Megs#82 via PC on finishing pad to remove haze (yes haze from #82).
Topped with souverian.
Rims were polished with my little wheel and my roto buffer, with blue magic polishing cream.
Tires recieved "Dress it Right" by Automagic
Trim recieved "Dress it" by automagic (cheaper)
Interior:
Scrub with Woolite mixture
Extract with shop vac
Dress trim with Dress It Right
Leather got Wolfegang leather conditioner ( I don't like this stuff that much).
Picture of the engine (I didn't detail it, just wiped 'er down with "Dress it right")
Befores:
Afters coming up!
