How to clean wool pad?

I recently ordered the DP Headlight Restoration kit which includes the LC 3 1/4 in wool pad. I will be using my drill for this kit. Can someone please explain to me the best way to clean the pad after I use it? I plan on cleaning it after each headlight. Thank you.

Do you have an air compressor? The best way Ive found to clean wool is to use air. Ill run the machine and take my air gun and blow the day lights out of the pad while its spinning. I start at the center of the pad and work my way to the outside edge.

I do not own an air compressor. The closest thing I have to one is the Metro Sidekick.

Lake Country Wool Pad Spur to clean as you go. Snappy Clean Pad Cleaning Powder 3 Pack or
soap and water clean when you're done. let air dry.

Thank you for the advice. I will have to get me a spur. I don't have a machine so I've never cleaned pads before.
