hi there just wondering how to clean a single wall stainless steel exhaust tip i tryed eagle one atoz wheel cleaner and that did nothing. Its stained a little and would like to make it shine like new.

would like a metal polish work because i dont have 0000 steel wool
Pick up a metal polish like Mothers or Wenol and you should be fine. Apply with a scrap terry cloth, or basically anything you don't mind becoming unusable for anything other than SS/Alum polishing. If you don't want black edges around your fingernails for a few days after, then consider some latex gloves as well.

what metal polish would be the best right now i have optium metal polish,eagle one polish,mothers chrome polish,megiuars polish and few more but can remember what its called

think i will try the optiumum metal polish tomorrow just wondering why didnt the eagle one atoz cleaner do anything.

i'm not expert by any stretch of the imagination but my father does metal refinishing for a living for the past 25 years. when I wanted to shine up my exhaust he had me use paint thinner (I believe and the exhaust was off the car, i wouldnt recommend this if the exhaust is on the car obviously) to clean the surface well, then I used Flitz - Flitz Metal Polish, Fiberglass & Paint Restorer will clean, polish, and protect any non-porous surface safely. Flitz Metal Polish, Fiberglass & Paint - to shine it up applying with a terry cloth towel. came out amazing

For stainless (brushed), Scotchbrite works well too if used in the direction of the grain.
