How do YOU buff? PC or by hand

I'll be ordering my 7424 during the AG buffer sale, but don't know if I need to add on a lambswool pad and MF bonnet or just some new final polishing towels. Do you PC owners do your final buffing with a bonnet on the PC or by hand?

If by hand, please let me know which MF towel(s) you recommend.

(FYI - my products will be ClayMagic, PB Pro Polish, EX-P, and Natty's Blue)

Polishes and LSP's, I remove by hand using any of several manufacturers terry MF towels.
IMO, the plusher the better. Good MF's last a long time so there's no real reason to skimp on quality.

I apply the first coat of a sealant with a PC and remove by hand. After that I go by hand as I have read that a pad on a buffer may remove some of the first coat of the LSP. Polishing is by a PC only. It is very hard to do much correction by hand. Not impossible but a lot of work. I am not inot polishing by hand for 20 hours.

Buff by hand. The bonnets tend to clog much to easily, IMHO.

IF you want a nice plush towel I have to say that for the money Detail City's Prestige towel is on sale for a nice price. Poorboy's sells the same towel. This towel is terrific !!

I usually apply one coat of sealant or wax by PC ... the rest by hand.
After much experimenting I have found removal by hand to work the best for me. I agree with Charles ... do not skimp on the quality of the MF towels because some of the cheapies can actually cause micro marring on the paint.

I have used a high speed rotary for abotu 12 years. There are areas on any vehicle that I think woudl benefit from using a PC, so I am thinking abotu picking up a PC in the next few weeks.
