Hi-Temp Premium Quality leather & vinyl protectant

"Risky Bizness"

I found a partial gallon of this in my cabinet. Don`t remember where I even got it. The stuff is pretty thick.

Has anyone ever used it? Opinions. I have a 2015 F-150 King Ranch.

As far as where you got it, it must have been Top of The Line, as they were the only internet distributor selling that brand, as I remember. I think the only Hi-Temp product I used was the tire cleaner; they were more of a dealer/body shop line. If Accumulator hasn`t chimed in about this yet, I don`t know if you`re going to get an answer, I think he used a few more of their products than I did.

Risky business:
The leather in a Ford King Ranch truck is very different than a "normal` automotive coated leather. There are all kinds of detailing horror stories within this forum about "uninformed" individuals who have attempted to clean and treat/protect this special leather with "normal" leather products.
Here`s a link to an old thread about Ford King Ranch leather:

(Other thread links info embedded within the posts of this particular thread)

My suggestion? Go to the Ford dealership parts department and see if they sell a King Ranch Leather Care Kit made specifically for taking care of this unique leather type.
OR check out Autopian leather expert Roger Koh`s company Leather Doctor and look for his kit specifically designed for this leather.

Here`s the part number of the leather care kit the King Ranch Leather Shop sells for its leather products: Product Number 223627
(I am guessing this is what the Ford Motor Company sells through its parts department, but I really do not know. Sorry, no internet link to company due to forum rules. you`ll need to do a Google search yourself)

I would save your Hi-Temp leather and vinyl protectant for "normal" coated leather and vinyl and NOT use it your King Ranch leather.
