My RUBBER floor mats won't get clean...I took them out a few weeks back while they weren't even that dirty, and scrubbed them with Dawn and rinsed them. They still looked dirty when they dried. I dont know what else could be stronger than Dawn but maybe an APC please give me some advice.

Have you tried using a steam cleaner or a pressure washer?

I have heard it works, I bought a scunci steamer yesterday ( i know their not that great, but it cost me less than a bottle of wax :D) I shall try it out tomorrow and maybe even do a write up

Cool, I just dont want to warp or shrink the rubber (if thats even possible) with hot steam. I am weary to test it out to be honest.

I've got some dirty rubber mats that came out of a 740i yesterday. I'll take some pics of the process today and post them tonight.

Probably going to use APC and a pressure washer. The APC is the purple stuff from Castrol. The BMW shop has switched from Simple Green to Castrol because it seems to work better.

For rubber mats, my process is simple:

Remove from vehicle and spray with garden hose to remove loose debris.

Megs APC 10:1, spray on liberally

Use stiff nylon brush, scrub in all directions to get in all the groove, nooks, and crannies

Let sit for 5 minutes

Spray with garden hose.

Take a close look, rubber can look "dirty" when it is actually "worn".

Good luck with yours.

I use Meg's APC too, I usually clean my rubber mats weekly with leftover wash water.

One day I accidently spilled some APC 4:1 on them, and the green solution quickly turn black!...

Then later I cleaned them all with APC 4:1, which really got the dirt out that normal water with car wash soap couldn't.

I have the BMW AW mats as well, and they never look clean and black. They have this scuffed look to them. I have given up, but if I get bored one day, I'll try some Westley's Bleech White on them. I haven't found anything that cleans tires (even black walls) better.

I always use a pressure washer to clean mine and they look great afterwards. If you don't have own one, just go to the coin-op places. Most of them have clamps on the wall to let you hang up floor mats, just hang yours up and let them have it. When used the coin-op places to clean mine (when I was in college) i first sprayed them down with the soap cycle and then the rinse cycle. After that I just dried them quickly with an old towel. They always came out great.
