Hello Tampa

I know there are plenty of you guys from the Tampa area but it's hard to remember all of ya. I just moved to the area and plan on operating three or four days a week. I'd love to get together with many of you and learn my bearings for the city and surrounding areas. Let's get a meet a.s.a.p. I don't mind lending my garage or home as the meeting point. Let me know what you all think.
 
Welcome to the Bay area, i'm in the Palm Harbor area in north pinellas county. Todd was thinking of a meet and a few others too. I'm in for one if we can get some folks over....what part of Tampa you live?..................Angelo..............:welcome
 
Great, Use to live there in the 80's when it was all farm land and few moble home parks. Also my only day off is Sunday when i'm not detailing someone's car.
 
Yeah it's not much farmland anymore heh heh. A Sunday creates no issues for me. It will be good to meet some new people, and more importantly new people with the same love for detailing.
 
Now only if we can get folks to sign up for a meet soon, everyone can bring food & drinks and have a great time.......Angelo
 
I will keep my eye on this thread to see if a meet happens in the near future. Im located in Sarasota so the drive wouldnt be to bad for me.
 
It should be a easy drive for you to Riverview (301 or 75). I think we can get quite a few folks to go. I'm about a hr's drive to Riverview..........:usa
 
Yeah Sarasota isn't a bad drive at all, I plan on working down there a lot and that somewhat factored into my location decision.

Thank you very much, We are very happy with the area and I am excited at the new potential workload that I should be able to make available.



I don't have a single friend or acquaintance in the area that is interested in detailing, so for me to be able to get together with a group of people like yourself is importnant to me.





Let's get this date figured out and set this up gentleman.
 
I am free pretty much every sunday except for Oct 28 because its vw fixxfest at desoto speedway. Other than that my partner(celicalover) and i should be able to make it.

Puckman, Josh moved up north from want i was told by Jim. I haven't been able to get of hold of Jim too. We got to get Todd to come, :grinno: , i got a detail the next 2 sundays in a roll, but after that i'm free.......Angelo
 
What's up with these black bugs that are stuck to eachother? Easily the toughest to remove bug i have ever seen on paint. They're on your paint like glue. I'm gonna have to charge a premium just for bug removal lol.
 
That's crazy zoom. My vehicles are very well protected, and these things seemed to etch themselves into my paint instantly. On the front of my hood I damn near had to wetsand them off.
 
I think that these bugs are worst in the country, I'm always looking at my car after a drive for them, because they will start eating away your finish so bad and it's pure hell to remove. They have very strong acids or whatever it's call (bug juice) that its start's going thru the CC then the paint before you know it. I always had some cleaner or QD with a MF with me all the time and i think the season has started again for them...........Angelo.....:usa
