My CLS 550 lenses need correcting, and I intend to apply Lamin-X afterwards. From what I`ve read, three-step compound/polish/pads should be sufficient (no deep scratches, just clearcoat degradation from a body shop application some years ago).
I tried to upload a photo (it`s not working) so you`d see how the lens extends behind/under the fender, and to some degree the bumper. Of course, the hood section is easily accessible.
I won`t be removing the fender for this operation. Any advice on how to reach the lens edges? I have 4" pads from Adam`s, and since they`re the previous waffle type, it should handle pieces of remaining clearcoat removal well.
