I used mine for a year and a half. It lasted through I'd say about 15-20 cars before it crapped out. Paid 30 bucks for it. So I'd say I got my money's worth. For occasional use, it's great, but as stated prior, the speed doesn't stay constant and you never know how fast it's going. I fried my first one after 2 cars. It's hit or miss, as stated. It's good for a backup in a pinch. They do have a new model, which I'd be curious to test out, but I'm thinking about just picking up a makita or something of the like.
Here's their new model:
- Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices
Its 60 bucks but you can get a 20% off coupon almost anywhere so then its 48 plus tax, interesting deal since dewalt is 200
