I was just wondering what kind of pads most of you use during hand application? In your opinion, does it matter? Are certain pads better than others for different chemicals/steps in the detail process?

Foam. Almost exclusively. Almost always on a PC or a Flex these days.

I do use the Adam's MF applicators in the instance where I use a spray wax (or tinker with putting thin waxes into a spray bottle) because I feel in that instance I get better coverage using the MF applicator.

Once you get proficient with it, you can really save a *whole* lot of time applying LSP's with a machine (and soft touch, of course).

I use white pads for my AIO application and red for sealant and waxes for hand application.

I like these for hand application of polishes, glazes and sealants. For wax I prefer a microfiber covered foam applicator.

For me foam has an application and so dose MF

In addition I also have cotton applicators for other uses like polishing metals and plastics

Foam or MF do not get the cut cotton can

Just as you would choose a certain pad for your machine and product for the job the hand applicators are the same

Hi there guys!! Nicko here from Detailed Xpress Im new to the Forum but I just wanted to post something related to this topic to test her out lol. I ran Into this company out at the SEMA show and they are called Super Neato Do ALL Applicators (but I won't share the company's name on my first post because it would appear to be SPAM) ( they make everything to do with microfiber towels and they had a lot of great products on display and some really nice applicator pads!!1

Welcome to the site...posting a non-sponsored company is not something we like here..especially on the fist post

When you go to shows like SEMA (many other trade shows), you will see numerous manufacturers and products you have never heard or seen before and probably will never again. There is a lot of microfiber made in China so likely many distributors that take bulk microfiber and finish it into unique products.
