Let's see if you can guess what they are....

Um...ok, I'll tell you! The one on the left is a Zaino Blonde Towel, the one on the right is a Duragloss Plush Microfiber Polishing Cloth....it's 11x17 and it's actually two towels sewn together (a la Monster Fluffy), well actually, as you can see below, it's an 11x34 towel that's folded in half, sewed along the long edges, then turned inside out and hemmed with MF banding on the end.

It's also got some stitching in the middle to hold it together (you can see the rectangle).

These towels are pretty much unlike any others I have, but oddly, like so many other Zaino and Duragloss products, they are very similar to each other. The closest is perhaps the Euro Shag, but these have a shorter, denser, nap. They are both very soft, thick and plush. Both of these are quite pricey (Zaino towels 3/$24.95, DG towel $10.95), so I don't really think I'm going to have too many in my arsenal, but they are interesting, both in their differences to other towels and their similarity.

Don't quite get the idea of sewing two towels together. Whats the point? It doesn't change the surface of the towel that touches the paint.

I got one like that from a uk retailer i4detailing very plush and soft

mine lints however please try them out and give us an update on how they lint setec.. Id like to get that kind of towel minus linting issue

Poppaj that kind of stitching eliminates edges instead of 4 sides with edges the towel only has 1 edge covered with suede mf no edges less scratches :)

Setec Astronomy- What about marring-from-stitching concerns where the DuraGloss one has that sewn middle rectangle?

Sheesh, you make it sound like I'm actually likely to use that towel--I only bought one, if I use it then I won't have a new one in the drawer anymore...but seriously, since you asked I examined it more closely, I can't really see any stitching, it's possible it's some sort of thermal process, you can feel something, but it's not hard, plus the towel is thick and dense, it would be really difficult to get any marring from that, IMO.

Zaino finally got more towels in? I know they were having problems with their stock for some time.

No, my distributor has a bunch. I can't buy from Zaino, since I'm in NJ, so I have to go to a brick and mortar store or there is one guy I can order from--but I don't think you can.

Your distributor? Wouldn't that be Sal himself since you are in NJ?

Heh heh heh :chuckle: But OK, roger that on the mystery-process and improbability of marring.
