I have a few high polished aluminum peices in my engine bay and i guess from using a crappy towel they have developed some marring, slight swirling and light scratches, the surface is mirror like but hazy, how can i get it back to mirror like w/o it being repolished by a machine, any metal polishes that will achieve this? I have read about alot of metal polishes that are to be used in steps but i can't find one that says it will remove water spots and fine scratches. Help!!! :shocked

Give Mothers Billit polish a try .. thats what I used as a final step when I was making my aluminum heat shields. Then I AIO/SG

I agree with Jess on the Billit cleaner. I used it to

"buff" out some scratches in some stainless exhaust

tips and it's amazing. It does take some work if their

a little deeper than slight marring, but they do eventually

come out. Hope that helps.

The Beer Man:D ;) :p

going to try heavy metal polish after speaking with them and go from there, thanks for the suggestions.

Don't mean to hijack, but what about swirls/scratches in chrome? Would the mother's billet polish work?
