General public's ignorance on vehicle bulbs...

Yeah the same here. It is just common courtesy. The only bad part is when somebody has an exit on the left - you are driving about 65-75 they are slowing down to 50-60 can get pretty hairy sometimes. Our turnpikes ( we have way too many) are the only things that make us or suggest us to drive on the right.

What is funny is I use to work with a guy from California and a guy from Texas and we would get into arguments about that very subject. They have laws there that forbid driving in the left lane except for passing. In Oklahoma we don't. The left lane is as open as any other lane, typically used as the fast lane but as long as you are going the minimum you can't get ticketed. They couldn't understand the fact we have exits on the left side of the highway as well as the right.
Uh, you might be unaware of the law OK just passed (or re-instated). No I'm hoping other states, particularly IL and WI pass the same law...

its the same way here in michigan. the left lane is just as open and free to drive in as any other lane on the higway... however i do have a problem with ppl who choose to drive in the left lane and actually go the speed limit or slower and dont change lanes when someone who is going faster than them gets behind them. its common courtesy. they even teach you that in drivers training here in michigan. lol
I grew up in Holly and driving on 75 was my life...I love seeing the left lane drivers getting ran off the road because they are going slower in the left lane compared to the others:waveyBut it is simple common sense and courtesy...the probably is the DA's out there!

wow $206 for driving too slow in the left lane :heelclick bout damn time. hopefully this wakes up those inconsiderate drivers.

I am assuming they are just on the turnpikes. Yeah that car in the picture is just OHP. They really don't have any jurisdiction outside of the turnpikes. Even if they pull you over on a regular highway they have to call for a local pd or a county deputy to assist. I am glad they are enforcing it on turnpikes. I know on turnpikes they are speed limit conscious as well, you go over they will find you. You may get pulled over and find out it was an airplane that clocked you. They couldn't enforce it on highways with all the exits on the left. I wish they would figure out someway to get all the exits on the right and make the same law for them.

The really irritating new trend is either removing or unplugging the wiring to the low beams (on 4 headlight cars) and driving around with just the high beams on, aka ghetto HIDs.

Nope. The outer headlights (the low beams) are off, just the inner headlights (high beams) are on. I guess they think they can fool the cops because only 1 set of lights is on instead of both. Same people who do that are the ones who put those stupid portholes on their front fenders.

Makes me glad I have an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

I'll keep my comments to myself
