"Firehose" nozzles?

The nozzle I use is sooooo much easier. Just hope it has a good long life.

I just picked one of these up a couple of weeks ago - love the on/off rocker because I can use it with one hand. The soak feature is great too - all in all, exactly what I was looking/hoping for.

I just got one thats guaranteed for life from murrays auto parts for 10 bucks. Works real well and has a strong stream to it for a nozzle :)

I bought my nozzle at Advance Auto for around $10 and it works fine. Added the shut off valve before it and love it. I find the old style trigger styles screw up after a year or so and then you end up tossing them. To each his own I guess!

I've had this nozzle along with the Dramm shut off for a couple months and have been pleased with both. While the fire hose style can take a little getting used to the high quality ones (this one and the one from Griots) offer a much more consistent spray pattern along with better flow.

I really like the easy one hand use of trigger sprayers.....but I was never able to find one that lasted while maintaining a consistent spray patter. I decided to spend the money and it's been worth it so far.

I have one that I purchased at Lowes for about $20. I think the brand is Gilmore. It has a big D handle on the top to turn the water on and off, and the nozzle turns to control the pattern. The thing is built like a tank, and should last a long time.

I was given the one from Brookstone as a gift. It is great! The only thing that sucks is that I have well water. I actually have thought of selling my house to get away from this stuff as I can't wash my cars at home. Sounds funny, but the well water takes it's toll on everything. :grrr
