Favorite sealant onjet black

I'm not a big fan of sealants on black - or maybe these old eyes of mine just love jet black and nuba.



I've been using sealants for the most part on the DD during the summer - OOS and was for the last couple of washes, I've been applying it about every 2 weeks.



Decided to top it off with some Collonite and used 876 today for the last wax of '07. Gotta say, the nuba just adds a really nice touch to black...



Love the sealants for the durability, but nuba will always have a soft spot when I can get away with it. I'll throw on a coat of Souveran to get ready for a nice Friday night out every once on awhile ;-). If it's a *auto meet*, I'll even put on some ex creme glaze, and then some nuba ontop.
 
i have been using poorboys exp and have been very impressed with results. althought i got some kasse sg this weekend and can't see any differences bewteen the two.

On black, I either use M21 or the discontinued M98 sealant, and top it with either M26 or Pinnacle Sauveron. I have also used 2 coats of Collinite 845, and that looks good.
 
I like AJT on our black VW. you can use Danase Wet glaze (over or under) with this sealant (and other acrylic sealants) as well as they are compatible (no funny bonding issues)
 
If you want a sealant and you want looks you can't beat FMJ IMHO:

Not much for durability though... Top it with some AW and it's not too shabby.
 
I like Z-5 but not on all cars. It looks really nice on Mercedes black but a little silvery on my black Corvette. For that I use RMG topped with Souveran.

I have not tried many sealants, but I like EX with carnauba and FS UPP.

I also like NXT. I once did 5 coats of SG on my frost white acura, and could not believe what I was looking at. :woohoo:

RMG red moose glaze topped with Pin. Souveran is the ultimate. I used that combo before I got my Vintage. The red RX8 glows. Even caught a Highway Patrol attention the other day and he loved it so much he gave it 4 points!!!!!!

That's pretty good, they usually give me 3 points!!



I like Z5, then Z2 on black. I also really like DWG topped with 50/50.
