Hi,

I pretty much have a list of favorites for everything but a sealant and was wondering what peoples favorite sealant was for a black, non metallic car?

Wolfgang 3.0? Jett Trigger?

I am looking for that deep, dark, wet looking finish...

Thanks as always!

All with Zaino Z5 Pro and Z2-Pro, Z6 between and Z8 at end. :2thumbs:

Just like the slogan for Porsche: ZAINO, there is no substitute

Begining to really like this Gloss-it and are leaning more to it at this time.

Great shots of the finish!

Wow! :2thumbs:

That gloss-it looks fantastic!

Now, help me out here...

Would the gloss-it be more of a bright and shinny look - rather than a deep, dark, wet look?

The idea with the gloss is sealants is to get that crystal clear, high gloss look without sacrificing depth with a sealant.

The GI Gloss Finish is the equivalent of Zaino Z5 or Z2, yet its a little deeper looking and not as sterile on certain paints (I only used Z2 and Z5 before Gloss It and they still are IMO great products)

For more a nuba glow than topping the finish with the GI Concourso gloss makes all the difference. That 2 sealant combo has yet to not impress me on any flat black car!

Some more for fun... GI gloss finish topped with GI concourso

None really. If I had to pick a sealant for black it would probably be Meguiars NXT2 since it has the most carnauba-like appearance.

I agree. Any long lasting sealant topped with a good nuba and then a good QD is the way to go on jet black, IMHO. Sealants don't seem to have any depth and the good ones are almost too reflective. I prefer a bit of a soft, wet look with depth, and a good nuba and QD gives you that. However, I am all for a sealant to provide a base and protection on jet black.
