Fastest Engine for my Truck?

I was wondering if anyone would have information reffering to the size of an engine that can fit inside of a 95' Ford F-150. I want a fast, yet powerful v8. What could I get that would fit and not cost too much?(And how many Liters)

I guess the answer would ultimately depend on how much you are willing to spend on the truck.

Check out the 5.0L Ford engine. It is great performance, decent economy, and lots of bolt on and aftermarket performance parts available. I had it in my van and really liked it.

Or even better an ford truck website, there are dozens of them. Then you could go crazy and just read for a bit, you know, soak up some knowledge before posting....
