Detailed my Dream Car

The paint on these cars never ceases to amaze me. It looks different from every angle. Too bad I didn't get to drive this one, I paint sealed it on location at the dealer. I have never seen one of these on the road, wonder who owns these cars? I know Michael Jordan doesn't because his legs are too long.[:I]

Nice,

That's the murcielago targa?

What does Lamboroghini recommend for the paint sealant?

I'd take mine in black, though. Stealth like.

Stain Buster,

LMAO...Stealth?.....like no one is going to notice a fricking Lamboroghini just because its black.....that a real stealth machine....LOL:rolleyes:

:sign ....what more can I say.

Anyway, if I would get to detail my dream car....

I'd probably go over this guy's house where I valeted his party about a month ago. Let me list a few cars he owns:

Enzo, GT Carrera, Aston Martin (forgot the Model, it started with a Z I think and there were only 90 made), a Ford GT on the way, two Porsche Turbos (one cabrio), an SL 65, RS6, a few Benz's, another Ferrari, oh and a GT Continental, .... I don't know anymore, the list is too long, the guy's too rich.

I'd go over his crib and beg him to let me detail any one of those cars...oh I would give anything....

oh BTW, nice job on the Lambo. That's a pretty exotic color, perfect for an exotic car.

When I opened my own shop I knew I wanted to work on Exotic cars. (you can have the minivans) So I picked a dealership that sells all high end stuff and dropped off my card. Then I called the owner once a month for 6 months, he finally told me, come over and pick up a Ferrarri I want to see what you can do. When I brought the car back all the salesmen came out to look at it, including the owner. After their jaws dropped to the ground, I knew I was in. Since then I put together a paint sealant program, which I do exclusively now. They also pay well. I had to get liability insurance to cover me for driving these cars. Godforbid something happens. I would love to share my products, but as I said before. I sell my own line of stuff (world wide I might add) so I can't discuss it on Autopia. If anyone has questions, contact me on my web site. Which I also can't post, but you can guess what it is if you can say my company name. (hint, hint. ) Gary

So what did you actually do to that Ferrari? Was the paint swirled? Was the car used? What was your process? Details please!

I've seen a couple yellow ones near The Ballpark in Arlington (most likely owned by Rangers) but I really like that green color!

Beautiful car!

The Ferrari was black and was swirled to death. How a car like that can get out of hand is beyond me. The only thing I can see is that some people have too much $$$ and don't care. In any event here is what I did. to it. Hand washed with micro fiber mitts, leaf blower dry. Clay bar, washed again. Followed up with 4-star cleaner to get out some of the minor blemishes. I then used a produce from Ardex called Daimond black, a swirl remover for black cars. (I love this stuff) I used the cyclo buffer with a yellow pad. I then worked the finish with poorboys pure polish to bring out the luster. Ended with my sealant to finish the job, I guess you could say I really didn't detail it, I made love to it. Gary
