Detailed Elegance - 2002 Black Mercedes S55 AMG

Barry - another shining example of why folks should go to you :iagree:
Thank you Harry!
Now, if only they start lining up for details, I will be all set.:partaaay:
Great job Barry with the time constraint you had!
Thank you Chris!
Fantastic job Barry! That is a BIG car and you 2-stepped it with great results in just 7 hours!! WOW! Looks great.
Thanks Jeff.
I was hoping to jewel it with PO85RD, but no such luck.
excellant job Barry. They need to ease up on you with the time frame.
Thanks Chad!
I have one more job with this group coming up next Tuesday on a 2010 Buick Enclave. I asked him how much time I will have, and he said "take your time. I will not rush you":partaaay::Dancing Dot:<:-P:hurray:

Great job Barry !

You will get tons of referrals from the peoples cars you have done . Then it will just snow ball from there ;)

Thanks DC.

I will use one of my favorite sayings. From your lips to Gods ears!!!!!

Great Job Barry!

You really deserve a nice relaxing detail. One where the customer tosses you the keys to a really nice BMW or Mercedes and says "make her perfect, you can have all week if you want"

Great Job Buddy!

Great Job Buddy!

Thank you Jon.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have a 2006 Bentley Continental GT coming up probably sometime next week. The owner really understands what it takes, and wants it to be done properly. Even though it is a mobile detail, I will be able to take my time and do it right. I am meeting him tomorrow, to discuss exactly what he wants done, and I will tell him that it will take at least 2 days.
I will keep you posted on this one.

Barry, great work as usual. Especially considering the time window :!!

BTW, I bet when you have customers who say take as long as you want regularly, you'll miss these moments where time was an issue...

Thank you for the compliment, but I don't think I will ever miss being rushed.:Dancing Dot:
I have learned that detailing really is a craft, and shouldn't be rushed. I suppose it's all in the expectations of the customer though. What I see as sub par work (due to time constraints), the customer sees a 100% improvement. They really are used to less then perfect, and we as detailers, are not.

Can't argue with this , since i agree completely with this. But then it's really hard to explain that i need a enough time window for this to people's around me, especially my wife, since as a enthusiast, i have to use my any available spare time. At the end, i have to re do some works (such as washing, etc), because i split the process (about 15 to 20 hours total working time - currently, my job for living doesn't allow me to have weekend like anybody else). For my DD, i still split the process, but sometimes i'm a bit rushing the process to be available for my family since it's only my DD, gets swirled and scratched all the time, thanks to ignorant people everywhere!
