Well, a week or so ago, I noticed a thread where a fellow Autopian was asking for some help. Cody (thevolvoguy) and I replied and we made an appointment from there.

We did a full detail on Jim's (zyx5432) 1.5 month old H2. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

Sweet! There's a guy in my neighborhood who owns two H2's..his is "arrest me yellow", his wife's is silver...he's been looking over every time I am detailing a vehicle, I hope he stops in!

Let's see...

It took us only about 3.5 hours for a full detail. It was very clean and brand new. The owner is Autopian after all! :D

We did notice the terry cotton towles in all the pockets of the car. Good job zyx5432! :D

What did you use for cleaning and treating the plastic cladding?

I used AIO, belive it or not. We had some Mothers B2B but I have found AIO to work awesome on black plastic.

Thanks for all the comments. I have to correct Miguel though, the full detail took us from 4:45 to about 8:45. So around 4 hours all in all. Not bad for a black hummer.

As for the process we used, since the paint was new, we touched up with the clay bar. It was not nesecerry at all on 99% of the car. I then follwed up with K AIO w/ the PC, and Jim wanted a topper on the Klasse, so I decided to top the AIO with Souveran instead of SG to get that carnauba depth.

Shadow Man - No, Jims neighborhood is outside of Houston. Miguel and I are based in the W. Houston area, near Katy.

well now that my 56K is in fire LOL Good pics! It is a nice ride... I like the wheels!... Now does that think fit in the garage?

We actually stayed back a few minutes to see if it could fit in the garage. :D

And yes, he had about an inch of clearance, but it fit. And now he has a 1 car garage! :lol

Great job!

What's the story on that Indigo Ink Pearl RX 300 parked at the curb?

Thats his wifes '02 (?) RX. Jim said he would have us detail that one at a later date.

What about that gorgeous dark red Volvo 850 on the other side of the driveway? :p

Looks awesome. My neighbor has a black H2, and and an H1 (regular Hummer. I don't know what to call it now-a-days). He was out there this weekend washing both of them.

Cody and Miguel did an awesome job!! :bow

Yes it fits in the garage (barely), but is so w-i-d-e that my wifes RX300 does not.

Now I'll have to make sure to get these guys back out to detail her car too.

Here's another couple pics I took this morning...

Ain't that the truth...I had to give mine a Co2 shot to cool it off!!!!:D

very nice work, BTW...that Hummer sure looks impressive (although I prefer the first model myself). I can't image someone owning 2, at least without having a warehouse to store them in.
