Got this customer while I was doing my brother's truck on Saturday. The customer goes back and forth to Ohio about twice a month. Lot's of road grime and bugs. Did something a little different on this one.

You'll see what!

Here's what she got....

XMT Carnauba Glaze

(EDGE 2000 Orange Polishing Pad set at 5.5)

Here's what I did that was different...skip any aggressive cutting!

After washing, believe it or not there were just light swirls. So, I wanted to try out XMT's glaze since it says it can remove light imperfections. Boy did it! It, with the orang pad did a wonderful job of cleaning up the paint. Sap and a light stains came out as did any swirls. This is a must-have product.

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran

(EDGE 2000 White Finishing Pad set at 3.5)

Still one of the best. Made the pearl pop and left it looking wet and deep.

Also spent some extra time on the wheel wells and engine bay since I didn't have a swirl removal stage. Customer was so glad I did!

Befores....

Looks brand new now. What did you use to clean the grime around the inner fender lips? I would imagine that soap wasn't strong enough. I see what looks to be some pretty gummy tar splatters.

Sweet, nice and wet. Those wheel wells look clean enough to eat off! Great job.

Funny. I was gonna say that engine looks clean enough to eat off. Terrific work.

Used Purple Power and my Karcher along with 2 gallons of Elbow Grease.

LOL!

Lovely work, and an excellent glossy finish on white paint, a farily unrewarding colour at times but you've got a really lovely finish there. Nice work. :2thumbs:

Looks awesome, glad to see someone taking the time to do the wells/engine really well, really makes it stand out.

How did the leg room look in back? From the pictures it looks pretty small, but from the outside it looks like there should be a bunch.

what was your exact process for cleaning the wheel wells, they look incredible! :2thumbs: as does the whole car :spot

Sprayed them with Eagle One All Wheel and Tire Cleaner. This stuff really works. You can see it lifting up the grime and letting it slide off. I then take a old wash mitt and go to town on them. Doesn't take as long as you think. After letting them dry why doing the interior, out comes the Armor All Tire Foam. I get the cheap cans. I spray them and let them sit. I have some old MF mitts that I come back with to wipe down and get rid of any streaks. The foam works wonders. I mean it.
