Denver going on Vaca!

Goof Off Rocks!
Denver back from Vaca!

I won't be around for awhile everyone.

Taking off for two weeks to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Got the RV all packed with the Roadstar strapped down on a trailer.

Taking a bunch of detail supplies with to detail my RV and bike while out there. Also made a sweet arrangement with the owner at the RV park to detail his 5th wheel for a free stay at his park. (usually $40 a day x 14 days = $560)

Guy also set me up with a secluded spot on the Snake River. He said the spot has full hookups and cable TV. No phone though!

See ya when I get back!

I'll take some pics of Old faithful to post.

Guess you've been there since you were able to arrange a deal, but, if not, that area is just beautiful. Enjoy!

Howdy everyone.
Got back from an my vaca last night. What a trip! If you haven't been to Yellowstone and that type of thing interests you, put it on your list of must go places. It was my first time there and I already want to go back. What at absolutely breathtaking and awe inspiring place. I took over 300 pictures!

I can't say it's nice to be home, my wife and I were thinking of ways we could shuck all our responsibilities and stay there for the rest of the summer. Back to reality and detailing cars!

Here are a select few.

This first one is spectacular. It was taken at the Midway Geyser Basin. The picture is of an erupting geyser, it was cool at the time, sunny, but with a huge storm in the background not yet blocking the sun. Combined with the steam, the picture came out just wicked!

Here is the wife and I at Artist Point in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone with the lower falls in the background.

I picked this pic because my wife and I were riding and all of a sudden she screams and pokes me to pull over. I thought she was hurt or something, but no. All she wanted was to get a picture of the Grand Teton Mountains from that vantage point.

This picture was taken shortly after I woke up. I stepped out of the RV to take my first mornings breath of fresh air. I wasn't quite awake yet when I looked straight in front of me to see this huge bison just laying down in the trees. I frantically tore through the RV to find where my wife left the camera so I could get a good picture. The rush was worthless because that darn thing layed there for three hours. I must have 20 pictures alone of this guy.

Beautiful Photgs!!! HEY DD - I was in your neck o the woods recently - Denver is beautiful - stayed right next to invesco stadium (they got an amusement park right in the heart of downtown there!!)

Here is a pretty cool picture of a road that crosses two mountain ranges to the northeast of Yellowstone in Montana. A park ranger suggested the ride. He said it was a great place to bike and get away from the crowds. In this picture's frame the distance from the left to right is about 10 miles. The road was over 26 miles.

wow very nice pictures. i like that one with you on your motocycle, and the mountains behind you. also, that bison is spooky.... ive never seen a bison in my life. that thing is one big mother!
