This is the article on the 2005 Legacy GT in the current issue of AUTOWEEK. Can you find my name in there? ;)

They didn't print everything I said about the car, but at least they got my main gripe in. The paint is pretty dang soft and easy to swirl. I don't think anybody who knows me is going to be surprised that when I finally get my chance to be quoted in a magazine that I end up being quoted talking about the paint quality. lol
 
Funny to see the comment about the paint. :)

I hada letter to the editor of some Chevy Magazine some 10-15 years ago. I also was mentinoned in Car Craft in a 1994 contest. I actually won a drawing by Chip Foose.

The clutch burning easy???? not sure what you mean but i have been getting a smell everyso often fron the baja and it enough to make me get worried.. good thing it's covered under the 3/36. As is all wear items... I just found out today....
 
You know how you can hold yourself on an incline with your clutch? Try that with the LGT and your car will immediately be filled with a stench ranker than the 7th ring of hell. If you launch any higher than about 4.5 RPM then it will just stink up the track and you'll get a poor time. It took about 2000 miles for the smell to go away just with normal driving. It has been noted by every 5MT driver on LGT.com and SOA doesn't seem to care. Other than it just smelling bad, I don't really see much of a problem. Untill it really starts to bug me I'll just learn to drive without burning the clutch.
 
I had that smeel when new also.. now it's going up a certien hill (long one) in gear with no changes in gear and you get the smell i've got 13k on her so i'm going to have them check it.it's only done it twice and it's not a turbo so i don't launcher or track her just carry a ton of stuff in her..
