Cheap Towels at Target

Target has some 23" x 41", 100% cotton towels clearance priced at 78 cents each. The brand name is Acclaim. They are not made in the U.S.A., they are from India and from Turkey.
They were located on an end cap towards the wall in the towel department.
They feel quite soft, but I have no idea if they are paint safe or not.
At 78 cents each, they will make awfully handy grunge towels for me. Door sills, windows, underhood, wheels, all those places that seem to get a good MF stained.

Speaking of cheap towels - Advance Auto Parts is now carrying MF towels - 18X 18 inch for something along the lines of 3 for $5. I haven't used them yet but they appear to be ok if a bit on the thin side.

I buy mine at Costco the white cotton hand towels they are cheap can't remember the price right now but the quality is real good!!

Thanks Rainmaker. I need some towels for this weekend! I appreciate you passing the word.:bigups Rick

Another place that I have found towels, is at garage sales. I tell the wife to keep an eye out and she has scored me decent towels for pennies

I bought some MF towels @ Advance Auto , they are kinda thin but they work ok though:bigups

If anyone has a big lots in their area they have royal velvet for a buck each. Very good deal IMO.
It would be a heck of a deal if your Big Lots has them. Just checked, ours does not.:(

Our Super Wal*Mart had the wrong price under their new 6.5 sq. ft. MF. Had the $4.86 price that is for the pack of small towels. When I pointed out the incorrect pricing, they thanked me and sold me two of the large towels for $4.86 ea. and deducted another $3. The two large MF towels cost me $6.72 + tax. Didn't seem like a bad deal at all.
I didn't think the small MF towels looked like they were too great, but the large one doesn't look bad at all. When our 14" of snow melts, maybe I will find out. :-p
Got lots of towels, lots of applicators, lots of products, lots of time, but the weather is not cooperating at all. :angry

Sorry Charles, I guess it is a hit or miss thing.

BTW, did you check the automotive section? Dumb question huh? :) Did they have the "patagonia" sheepskin mitts?

Actually, I didn't. I'm not much of a shopper. I'm a buyer. I go to a store to buy something or things and I don't usually even look at anything else.
So, in answer to your question, I don't know.
Sorry,

Charles
