Can't buff it out, 3rd damn time this year

Scott, that's great to know about boosting the performance and making refinements! That's the awesome thing about Hondas, lots of tweaks are possible. Once you do those mods, please report back. I'm curious how they'll all work out.

Ditto regarding the "Accord" badge. That and the darn dealer decal  were the first to go the first hour I had mine. The sleeper look= :)

Every time I buy a car I ask the salesman who I should remit an invoice to for the advertising fee. I've never taken delivery of a vehicle with a dealer sticker or license plate frame on it as a result :chuckle:

I ditched the dealer frame on the spot but the car already had the decal on it on the lot and I was kinda horrified what the "car wash and prep" department  may have done had I asked the dealer to remove it, so I just played it safe and removed it myself when I got home.

H would have been gone too if it didn't leave holes.

Personally, I think the lone H looks best. Well at least on a coupe, there'd be a little too much blank space without it You still have a nice, clean look though.

Take it off, scuff it, paint it body color and reinstall? It would at least blend in enough that way to be barely noticeable...

The XM is really nice. Subscription runs out in a couple months, going to renew it for sure.

If you call to cancel XM before your free trial runs out, you can get it for $77/year.

WOW!

The important thing is that you're ok- looking at that damage, it could have been much worse.

Looks like the car hunt is over. My Dad called me tonight to see how the search was coming along. Told him I'd looked at a V6 Accord, had another one to look at tomorrow and maybe a Maxima on Monday. He then said he was getting a Nissan Frontier in the next day or two and asked if I wanted to buy his '04 V6 Accord. 75k miles on it and meticulously maintained mechanically by him and cosmetically by both me and him. Put Opti-Coat on it a couple years ago. Guess all I will need to do it wash it the next 8 years or so...

Glad to hear you're okay.

And glad to hear you're back into an Accord. Excellent cars. I'm still driving my 1997, happily.
