BMWs:05 Black 745li/04 Silver 645ci & a Black 04 Lexus LS430

Amazing work Bryan!

It looks like you really had your work cut out for you on that Lexus and I'm sure you will be dreading to detail another one in the future!

The black 7-series looks incredible. Did you find the paint on the hard side or softer side? What about the 6-series?

Nice job on all three and great write-up. Top notch work!

Bryan, ::bow:: ::bow::, Once those Lexus hits the scratch and wash places, it's over. The paint on those car are almost as soft as the porsches (especially black). Only way to get rid of the rids is by inducing halograms, but great job on the finish. I love the interior cleanup on the 645i though, I can't believe she would treat it that way. At least it has seen some good use of the sun. Few questions though.

1) How long did it take to complete each car?

2) Did you condition the leather seats on the 645i, and if so with what.

3) How does Raggtop compare to using 303 fabric protectant?

4) You think leatherique could've been used to clean the dirt from the seats?

5) How does M105 compare to SIP (I'm pretty sure you've used it) or if not, HTEC?

Great job on the car, hope you're not as tired anymore.

Thanks Sam!

1. The BMWs where about a day each and the lexus took 1.5 days.

2. After cleaning with the MCME, I went over the leather seats with zaino Z9/10.

3. Not really sure as I have never had a vert to see how they last long term. I guess the key to each is to make sure the top is as dry as possible.

4. With leatherique the car would of had to sit out in the sun for at least a full day. The cleint was driving the 645 while I worked on the 745. So that was not an option for this trip.

5. M105 and SIP are not in the same cut class at all IMO. Same can be said for HTEC as well.

I am still a little sore, but should be fully recovered for a 08 black porsche 911 on Tuesday. :)

Great job. They all look great! I thought that looked like the Huntsville area.

I live in Madison which is next to Huntsville. Which part of Huntsville was this?

Thanks barrijm! This was near the Arsenal. I could hear them testing the explosives untill 9pm at night.

Dreading yes, but also charging more. ;)

I think the jet black paint on the BMW was on the softer side, had to make sure I was finishing under 1000 with UF to finish hologram free.

The silver was harder then either black.

outstanding work on all the cars, just one question, what were they using to open the door to the lexus, a wire brush, i could'nt beleive all the scratches around the door handle.

Bryan,

You do some amazing work. Anybody that has you as their detailer is incredibly lucky! Great work on all of the cars.

I agree. Bryan is that man, period! Great work :wow:

Are you doing this full time?

My regular job has me working Fri-Sun, so I can detail from Mon-Thur.

Excellent recovery work on the Lexus LS430 :bow and all the cars look like new again :goodjob .

Thanks Gen2!

Absolutly AMAZING WORK Bryan! Great write up too.

That Lexus was really beat and you really made it close to perfect as it could get it. That 7 series looks totally incredible. Loving how thick and glossy it is now. I still can't believe how dirty that water was coming from the 645's interior. They must drive with the top down a lot.

I know you like liquid rocks in a bottle, but they now have liquid boulders in a bottle too. It has a cut of P600. It's no marketing hype neither. When I opened the bottle, I heard the sound of a jack hammer.:chuckle:

Thanks Ryan! Jack hammer in a bottle. :rofl I hope I never need any of that.

Nice work, Bryan. You really brought that black one back from the hacker's graveyard.

Thanks integritydetail!

Very informative write up. The outcome of the cars is Amazing!

Once again it shows that it takes some major hours to perfect paint, I keep seeing these people that claim it only take 4hrs with a PC or onestep it with a rotary. They don't even come close to what you produced.

Cheers,

GREG

Great work on some fantastic cars! Shame the owner of the BMW's insists on chrome wheels though. ;)

Thanks Justin!

Greg, Thank you very much for your kind words!

I have been asked in the past to do a quick polish on finishes that where in horrible condition, I always turn them down, I can't see having my name on a finish like that.
