Bmw m3

My name is Mike
My detailing buddy has finally decided to sell his beloved Mugellorot 1995 E36 M3 and use the proceeds toward a newer M3 Sedan. It has been pampered for the last 4-5 years and is in excellent shape. Decided to move away from the candied Klasse look and move to a wetter look.

Products used:
1Z W99 (foam to strip the Klasse)
CG CWC
Optimum G-P-S
several weeks later
Wolfgang ETS
DP WAW
DP Max Wax
Optimum Instant Detailer
BF Total Eclipse Tire Gel

The single stage paint proved a bit tricky to seal. Originally wanted to use Opti-Seal over G-P-S but it hazed and needed to be removed. (Important lesson: do a test spot!!) Thought there would be no issues with Max Wax but did have some problems with streaking/hazing. Came off with a PC + MF bonnet + OID. When finished - as you can see - it was quite nice.

What's he asking? I'm looking for that model and about that year. I really want the 97 but the 95 would work

While usually my least favorite generation of M3s, this E36 looks dropdead gorgeous! That hard work definitely paid off Mike!

Thanks everybody.

As hard as we worked on the paint, it was getting the trim right that took it to a new level (not that it looked bad before). I let him loose with my Dupray for almost 2 hours to get the rotor hats to look like that.

Thanks Joe & kc!

Still learning G-P-S. For me with a DA, it seemed to work best with multple short working sessions (3 section passes, wipe, 3 more, etc) rather than extended number of section passes. Love the spray-on nature (the Hypers, too).
