I have tried the Goodyear "icon style" blades from Costco. They clean the windshield great, but squeak with every wipe. Before the Goodyears I used the Bosch Evolution which were fantastic - clean wipe and no chatter or squeak.

Just ordered the Valelo's for my Hyundai Tucson. Read so many reviews about them, and all were highly rated! Will follow up.

I've heard Rain-X Latitude and Bosch Icon are among the best. Anybody have experience with these or think others are better?

Been using Bosch Icons on a few vehicles, including my older Crown Vic, with complete satisfaction. Following the previous owner's advice I tried the Rain-X ones on my newer Crown Vic and was quite disappointed in the difference.

But I suspect that the "individual vehicle" factor might be significant; what works great on one might not work as well on something different.

I've been a pretty big fan of OEM wiper blades over the past few years. They have been good on my Highlander and MR2 Spyder. I haven't had my FR-S long enough to need to replace the blades on that one yet. I've tried some of the other *fancy* blades like the bosch and other brands, but was never fully satisfied with the contact they made with the windshield (especially at speed). The ones mentioned in this thread might work OK in some situations, but I'll be sticking with what I know works for now.

I favor PIAA Super Sporza Silicone blades. A bit pricey but since you can refill them that is not an issue. Last a long time, don't chatter or miss a single drop and the silicone they layer actually makes a difference in water shedding as advertised. I have had a few people ask if I use rain-x or a similar product and I don't, it is the blades.

People always assume I use such stuff too, but in my case it's just clean glass (not even silicone-impregnated wiper blades).

I clean as well but there is a distinct difference on the water shedding between the swept and non swept area leading to the logical conclusion. Try them!

I have used TRICO NeoForm's on my old Ford Powerstroke diesel and now my Lexus's. Last well over 1 to 1.5 years and streak free, noise free etc.....Well worth the $$$$

Another vote for Trico NeoForm!
