Best version of 'O Holy Night'

My mother and I used to have what we called "Holy Wars" around this time of year when I was younger and we still had a relationship. We would find all the versions of 'O Holy Night' that we could find and then listen to them all and rank them. We kept track of who won each year and every year we had to find someone with a version that could beat them. I put together a (probably illegal) CD of some of the winners and serious contenders from the several years that we followed that tradition and I'm going to send it to her for Christmas this year. I've still got room for a couple other tracks, so I am wondering who sings your favorite rendition of O Holy Night and I can add them to the list. These are the versions I have already in no particular order...

Whitney Houston
Anthony Warlow
Celine Dion
Olivia Newton-John
Neil Diamond (hard to do better than that)
Michael Craford (really hard to beat that one too)
Gary Morris
Josh groban
Trans-Siberian Orchestra (It's like Metallica meets Christmas. My favorite version by far.)
Mariah Carey
N Sync

If anyone wants to play this year with me then let me know and I'll send you a copy of the disc too. None of these were downloaded in case you are worried about that. I bought and paid for every CD these songs were on. :) Some of them are really hard to find and are possibly artists you've never heard of. They really do the song justice though. It's amazing that you can listen to the same song a dozen times by a dozen different artists and still not get tired of it.

Last year a gal named Charity Von put a piano-vocal solo up on her website for free. It probably tops the list for me. It's available again for free download: http://www.charityvon.com/music/

btw, I don't know her, not selling her; she probably won't do great in music sale. I just like the song.

Aaron Neville does an awesome version of that song on his Christmas CD. It's an old CD that's been around for some time but it's one of the best Christmas CD's that I've heard.

What a coincidence! This happens to the Dream of All Damsels favorite song! His return was one of perfect timing!

I thought his favorite song was "O Holy COW THAT MAN IS HUGE!!!"

Here's my impromptu album cover. :D I don't have a CD labler, so this is just going to get printed out and stuck on the front of the slim CD case the disc will be in.

Enough said
I'd have to say it's between that one and the TubaChristmas version (but only because that was the first song I played above the staff on as a Tubaist, High F to F above High C is one hell of a jump when you're a freshman in Highschool, trumpet range that is)

My favorite song, Christmas or otherwise, of all time.

Back to the topic at hand, I can't say that I could single out just one favorite, but I will add 10 contenders to the list :

Andy Williams
Perry Como
Karen Carpenter
Colin Raye
Vince Gill
Wynonna
Celtic Woman
Sandi Patty
Charlotte Church (there is a performance on youtube w/ Ms. Church and Placido Domingo that is especially moving)
Jackie Evancho (is she really 10 y/o?)
