best spray detailer?

What is the best SD? does zaino z6 and grand finale bond with other products on the paint? Is it poorboys just as good? I see poorboys has a SD and a SD with wax, what do you get?
 
kinda depends on what you want out of it. Do you have a carnauba or sealant LSP? Zaino Z6 and Z8 are great over sealants. Poorboy's Spray and Gloss is pretty good, and the Spray and Wipe is more of a waterless wash type of product but can also be used as a QD.



My personal favorites are, in no particular order:

Griot's Speed Shine, Adam's Detail Spray, Clearkote Quikshine, UGE, Sonus Acrylic Spritz, and One Grand Show Off (this is a recent favorite of mine... it looks awesome over my Pinnacle Sig II).



I also really like Poorboy's Spray and Wipe for a waterless wash.



The current forum favorite is Finish Kare #425. I think it's okay, but not the be all end all. I much prefer Sonus AS.
 
I like PB S&W , PB S&G , Adams , Clearkote Quickshine , are my go to product's.



Also have FK1 425 and 146...



The 425 is as good as any but no big deal , the 146 ( Kind of like PB S&W ) cleaner and QD, work's nice but I can only use it on my metallic gray truck, it streak's to much on my black one.... decent product's but won't purchase again.
 
Chemical Guys Pro Detailer is my favorite QD by far (for carnauba finishes only), but Poorboy's S&W is excellent too.
 
Spray and Wipe is a QD like product that can be used for a bit more than a regular QD can be used for. It's billed as a waterless wash and can supposedly clean heavier dirt and grime from the finish than a regular QD can. It's a great product but beware of how dirty your car is and be very careful using it on that dirty car.

QEW is a true rinsless wash and it can take the place of a hose wash for many people and many including myself have used it on a fairly dirty car with perfect results.



Spray and Wipe is great as I mentioned but I find that it lacks the complete luster and slickness of the best true QD's. I love 425, Quickshine and Wizards Mist and Shine for their luster and slickness. Z-6 is great as well but I find myself using it only when I have Zaino on the car. Sonus Acrylic Spritz is great and even more so when used with the Klasse system.



I am a QD junkie and I'd love to have one of everything. :2thumbs:
 
I currently use Simply Z-Best X-Treme Detailer (which is currently available only with the complete Z-Best bundle). Unlike Meguiar's Quik Detailer or Mother's California Gold Spray Detailer, Z-Best doesn't require shaking. I've also found it to be easier to apply and wipe off.

..and PB Spray and Wipe, which is more of a cleaner. I've never used Adam's or Spray and Gloss before though.



QDs are addictive. I wanna try all of them! :)
 
Great thread (and timely, at least for me). My bottle of Adam's QD is about finished, going to give PB S&W and 425 a try. I like Adam's QD, but the smell gets on my nerves and it's always fun to try different stuff!
