Best car wax for deepest shine on a silver 2006 maxima

it is the polishing process that gives you the results that you are looking for. wax will only do so much. I love OC/OP & #16 combo on silver/gold. Hope it helps.

The deepest shine I've gotten on my silver car so far was with Fk #1000 paste wax. It has a crystal clear reflection and great durabilty. Not much more then I can ask for in a wax.

I currently have AIO/2180/Pink Wax on my silver metallic car. Very reflective and bright shine. I've had that combo on for just a week now so I can't provide input on durability. Don't think I got the full effect from the combo either as I've noticed that FK products tend to cure over a period of a couple days (get slicker and increase in gloss) because it rained the day after the application. We'll see how it looks after this weekend when I wash and follow up with either FX-100 or another sealant/carnauba booster.

Previous to that combination I had AIO/UPPx2 on the same car and that looked awesome. You'll find that many on here recommend UPP for silver, especially metallics. Very bright and seemed to really bring out the metallic flake. Super easy application and removal and I had pretty good durability, but was applying HGAS at every wash. I was going on 4 months and it was still beading well, but just decided it was time to try the 2180/PW combo. Not sure which one I'll go with or I might try 2180 with S100. I did notice that when topped with carnauba (Natty's or PW) that the metallic flake didn't quite seem to pop, but the surface seem more liquidy, but nothing like you could get on darker vehicles.

From the pics I took, can't really tell much of a difference, but in person I think you might be able to tell. Tough to compare when not side by side. I do notice that when I apply carnaubas (Natty's Blue and PW) that after rains, the beads are much tigher and doesn't seem to pick up as much dust (at least for me).
