Just had the car delivered this week and the owner told me there was a few scratches on the hood. I went over there to check the car out and the whole car was covered in RIDS everywhere. He called Bentley and they said the car was detailed before it went on the trailer...long story short, guy in the back used a brush to clean the car.....2 people got the sack cause of this car :drama: hate to see that happen but they did foot the bill for the correction.
It took me an hour just to remove all the compound from the last hack
The car hadnt been driven yet so it really wasnt dirty but i wanted to remove any glaze that they had put on to cover up there work. Sonax full Effect was used on the wheels then Meg APC+ tires and wheel wells
Wheel woolies were used, these things rock
My pressure washer decided to quit on me while i was there, good job the car wasnt dirty, P21 Auto Wash was first sprayed, then two bucket method, CG Citrus Wash and Dawn
It started to pour down so no wash pics, the car was clayed with Zaino and DoDo Juice Born Slippy, dried and then brought back inside into the heat.
I then taped up the edges, clear bra then began to inspect the paint.
I tried a few different combos, some of the RIDS were deep so i have to be more aggressive in places, most of the car was corrected with M105 Cyan on makitia, others were M105 MF pad/Flex
Thought this was a kool shot, the new range just peeking in the pic
Looking somewhat better, needed 2 more steps after the initial compound
Few RIDS needed sanding, 200 grit took care of them
Excuse the white specs, M105 covered everywhere...the Ferrari's gonna need a bath now
Ah i see pig tails
Onto polishing, cleaning up the haze, D300/Tangerine
Blackfire was the choice of LSP, oh look is the a Lamborghini Aventador in the corner.....It arrived just as i was finishing up....Stay Tuned for that!!!!!
I will take some better pics outside, it was freezing
Thanks David
