Beer Time

My favorite has got to be Keystone Light (cans).

J/K :D

If I'm drinking to "drink," then we usually have Coors Light or Bud Light - after a few mixed drinks.

If I'm drinking to have a beer (ie. flavor), I like Sam Adams and Shiner Bock.

Hi John-

I picked up my homebrew today, sounds kinda funny. Anyway I have tried three different 22oz's already. Double IPA, Jolly Roger IPA, and Hopzilla. They are all very good. Hopzilla being my fav so far.

Steve,

Good for you. The Hopzilla sounds pretty intense, lol I have a couple of new IPAs and DIPAs waiting to be had as well.

John, I was just killing some time and read through this entire thread. You've got about 50% of the posts or around 140 posts of the 279 posts in this thread alone. I'm thinking to myself, if you know half as much about car care (detailing) as you do about beer we (the Autopia community) would be absolutely nuts to take advice from anyone other than you when it comes to detailing a car. This has got to go down as one of Autopia's longest running contiguous threads also. We salute you! :usa

There are many of us.

I've helped a friend with a couple of microbrews now... it's really a lot of fun. I haven't bothered to do it myself yet, but I get to drink plenty of his, so it all works out. This winter, I think I'll give it a shot (it's too warm in my house to properly ferment ales during the summer, and I don't have a basement). Anyway, glad you enjoyed the process, and the beers turned out well, it certainly is enjoyable to brew your own.

Tonight for me was a couple of Terminal Gravity IPA's. 6.7%, nice and hoppy with a little bit of malt sweetness. Very tasty.

It's been over a year since I've had some Terminal Gravity, very tasty what I remember, it's still on my list to re-buy.

New here and I'll be jumping in here from time to time....love good craft beers.

Tonight I had a few Dogfish Head Chicory Stout...very good.

Welcome aboard! Always great to have another craft beer lover. I have a couple of those heading my way soon.

WOW! Having a Newport Storm 05 today, got in a trade from a friend in RI. This is an awesome tasty American Strong Ale, pretty complex brew, clocks in at 11.7% ABV, 750ml. Just might have to get a couple of more if I can.

Never had Yuenyling, is it a good beer?

" D.G. Yuengling & Sons is officially recognized as America's Oldest Brewery.

With over 177 years of brewing tradition and five generations of Yuengling family ownership Yuengling holds the record for longest continuously operated brewery."

In Pennsylvania this beer has a large following. Its brewed in Pottsville PA. I've only tried the Traditional Lager and the Premium Beer. These were better than the normal mass brewed beers, Millers, Coors, Bud, etc. but nothing special.

Good to give to friends when they show up to watch the game , they think its special and it keeps them away from my Newcastle Brown Ale and Victory Hop Devil.
