Beer Time

Whoa, so you got into the craft beer finally, good for you? What else have you tried out?

Tonight I'm trying out some Coopers Best Extra Stout, not bad, way better than a Guiness.

I'd have to go back to the older beer thread to list them all.

Happy Father's Day,

Today I'm enjoying a couple of Alba Scots Pine Ale, 7.5% ABV, very tasty. Reminds me of a barleywine, but sweet malty, slightly dry finish, very nice.

Of course I'm having a beer this evening...

Ridiculous as this may sound, I find myself in Nebraska visiting a client site for three days this week. So I was driving around the neighborhood and discovered a brewpub, Granite City, within walking distance of my hotel.

So tonight I'm sitting outside on a patio in Lincoln, Nebraska having crab cakes and a pretty nice little IPA, and I think I'll have another.

Tonight a couple of New Belgium 1554s, very tasty Belgian Dark Ale, malty, slightly toffee flavor, nice bitter/dry finish.

Last night was a Boulder Mojo IPA, an Off The Rail Madman IPA (local brewery), and a Boulder Hazed & Infused. The favorite was definitely the Mojo IPA, nice flavor, good hops, plenty of alcohol.

I'll have to look into Boulder Mojo. I live in Boulder but don't always keep up with local brews. Thanks for the heads up.

I have a couple of Mojo's in the closet, will get to them soon. Tonight I'm having a couple Snake River Pale Ale's, very nice brew, very tasty, a little hoppy, kinda reminds me of a SN Pale Ale.

Haven't had anything from Snake River before, but i have seen it around here. I'll have to check it out.

Their Zonkers Stout is really tasty I hear, I have a sixer waiting to be had.

Tonight a couple of brews. First up Big Sky Moose Drool, a brown ale, very tasty. Next, New Belgium Trippel, a Tripel, also very tasty. Anyone else having a beer or two tonight?

Today, doing the usual grilling and drinking a 750ml of Delirium Nocturnum, a strong dark ale, 8.5% ABV. A very nice sweet/tangy malty, fruity, citrusy, brew.

Just finished some Harpoons Hefeweizen UFO. Good but not great.

Delirium Nocturnum, what a great name, but it sounds like Harry Potters favorite brew!

Shared a bottle of Hennipen (Brewery Ommegang) with friend last night, pretty good stuff. It wasn't what I was expecting with a belgian ale, but good none the less... Very fruity with a full mouth feel to it. Also been drinking a bit of ImPaled Ale (IPA) by Middle Ages Brewery. This is some very good, but strong tasting stuff. Heavy on the hopps with a nice bitter end. This brew can be tasted long after it's been drank.

I've had the Three Philosophers, very tasty, one of the best Quads I've had so far. I have found a place where I can get the Hennipen, so I'll let you know how I like it. I love IPAs, one of my best styles, glad to hear you like the ImPaled Ale.

Having a couple of Rogue Mocha Porter's, very tasty, really like this one, sweet malty with a nice coffee flavor, with a nice dry finish. This will go good with my grilled steak and Jalopena brat.

Had a few Wolver Organic Brown Ales tonight, I think the ImPaled Ale made my taste buds numb. The Wolvers went down like water with a hint of roasted chocolate.

Jackpot, bought some Duvel and was given 4 hard to find Duvel glasses free...... ( plus 2 last week)

Ahh Duvel, I cant find anything better, but then again im not looking!
