About to buy a s14 with bad dings PIC inside!

okay so i plan to buy one of my dream cars, the s14 silvia.

unfortunately the owner has taken it to the track and its seen some abuse.

Would i be able to clean any of these things by detailing?

detailing will improve the looks/condition but those are paint chips and deep scratches... you need to repaint to totally rid of them..



how much is that s14 being sold for?
 
That damage will have to be fixed by repainting. For a car like that, I wouldn't care too much about the body damage. Make sure the motor is healthy and the chassis is in good shape. Do a leakdown test on the engine and put it up on the hoist.

thanks for the advice man, let me know if you have any more advice before i buy it.

i told him i want to take it to my mechanic to do a compression test and leak down test.



is there anything else i should check on the sr20det?
