great job but where is the hood?

Apparently, one of the quirks with this particular vehicle

is a flaw in the hood mount/hinge. It was not working properly

when we recieved the vehicle , so it's being repaired.

I'll post pics when she's all put together and looking right again.

gusbubba, very nice before and after results. That is one classy vehicle, lucky person who ever purchases that vehicle.

Question, did you gauge the paint? I'm assuming so, how much paint is left on it? Just wondering that's all.

Unbelievable a timeless car indeed, the props that you deserve for such a restore is not even funny, you can just see the hard work and dedication that went into it. :buffing: :bigups

SilverLexus : I promised some pics illustrating the difficulties

of in/egress through our shop/showroom.

This is the detailing bay (under renovation for upgrades and expansion:bounce ).

Just on the other side of the wall to the left is the showroom:

At the far end you can see the main access garage door...good luck

getting to it.

Some more pics for your pleasure:

(a few of them are actually in focus)

There's another large overhead door in the garage next to us ,

but that's usually cluttered up with vehicles, too.
