I have finally found a leather cleaner and a conditioner that works as advertized.
4* Ultimate leather Cleaner and 4* Ultimate Leather Conditioner

The Cleaner,
-Is a clear gel that rubs in extremely well
-The instructions say to wipe off to dry and as I did that it
removed the dirt.
- The leather felt a little sticky when done so I took a damp towel
and wiped the seats a couple more times. this remove the
remaining cleaner residue as well as a little more dirt.
- The seats looked clean and were soft as new
- This is a very easy product to use and it cleaned better than
anything I have used over the years

The Conditioner
- Awesome real leather smell
- This stuff spread on so smooth and a little went a long ways ...
not like other products that just turn to gum after you rub them
in a little bit
- After rubbing in, I wiped with a dry terry towel ... the seats
were a little shinier than I normally like but they feel lsoft like
brand new leather ... no greasy feel at all
These two products are the best I have ever used on leather seats and the car smells like new inside.

Yup i agree...I had to use the leather brush with the cleaner for some tuff stains...but A++++ to those 2 products..

I got both a while back. Pretty much the same observations you got. The only thing I don't like, this goes for all brands, is using cream on perforated leather. My dad's Mountaineer has them and creams seem to fill the little holes and are a pain to get out. I might get some Lexol for that, but for the other 2 cars with flat leather I'll use 4*.

I have perforated leather on my Aucra TL-S on the door panels and seats - with the 4 Star - I use a Mf cloth and apply it to the cloth then schmear it in the cloth so it does not go in the holes, if if some does - a quick wipe over with a dry MF and it's gone.

shotime,
my leather has those little holes and after wiping off the conditioner and letting it dry ... The holes were clear. I think the conditioner actually soaks into the leather.

I have tried all of meg's leather products (I think all anyways) and 4* blows them out of the water as far as ease of use and the feel of the leather after it is conditioned. Meg's makes good products but IMHO this stuff is superior!

Thanks! I am forwarding this thread to Rick (President of Four Star and head chemist.)

He rarely goes online but I'm sure he will be pleased to hear your thoughts about these products.

I know ... What is film??

:wait Kim, your still using ol fashion film!?

ITs soooo out of style:-p

You gotta get a nice digicam, preferably 3 megapixel or above. I have a sweet 5 megapixel Sonyp10, and im in love.

No film (at 9$ for processing per roll, it gets very expensive).
No fuss.
Awesome quality.
And DIGITAL Baby!

Uber easy, and uber fun!
