Totally agree that the 2006 design is leaps and bounds ahead of the old IS. Yes, I see a slight Acura TSX resemblance, too.



What really gets me going :drool: is the 3.5L V6 w/ 306 hp and 0-60 time of 5.6 sec. :drool: :xyxthumbs

It would take a lot for me to buy an automatic at my age. I guess I'll have to go drive it and see if its up to par .

Actually, it is much smaller in person than it appears in the pictures. If I remember correctly, it is only 2 inches longer than the old one. There are several I see everyday at work.



I have been debating on whether to get one or not, but I don't have the garage space for it... :hm

Possibly but if they really want to make a 3 series beater it better have a clutch pedal available on the highest model.

Not even close. lol. It is still an automatic with about 10% more drivetrain loss than a manual. Also, seeing how it is just an automatic with paddles, the shifts are still slow. Manual gives you sooooo much more control and so much more feel, as well as more power at the wheels where it counts.
