My old boss finally gave me the chance to detail his 2005 Dodge Viper Hennessey 750 R. Stock power for the 2005 SRT10 is 505HP, but he had it sent to Texas to get the 750 R package, which is a crazy 750HP.

The pictures don't even do this car justice, it is truly AMAZING! He also owns a Saleen S281 (daily driver) and a Mercedes SL55 AMG. To make things even better, his buddy owns an Enzo and is going to talk with him about my work so there may be a chance of me detailing a million dollar exotic.

My process was:

Wash

Clay

FMJ

Signature Wax

FMJ on wheels

Plexus on the plastic

Meg's Endurance on the tires

Anyway, here are the pics- ENJOY:

very nice... no pics of the s281?

Those will come soon. I am detailing the SL55 AMG in the next week or two (he is actually letting me borrow the car for a few days), then comes the S281. All three cars are beautiful and the other two are black in color too. :D

750 whopper wow :woot:

You should do some burn on that bad puppy :p

Hennessey Performance says the 750R can go 0-60mph in less than 2.5 seconds and 0-100mph in 4 seconds. My boss gave me a ride in that thing and I almost wet my pants just stepping into it.

The great thing is that we're going to a Ferrari show in early June together and he's taking on the Viper. :D

0 - 100 in 4 seconds? Makes no sense given 2.5 seconds to 60.

0 - 60 in 2.5 seconds = 24 mph acceleration each second.

0 - 100 in 4 seconds = 25 mph acceleration each second.

So the car accelerates faster 60 - 100 than it does from 0 - 60? Unpropable. Prove me wrong?

While I am not sure about the Hennessy, I know marauder was fairly slow 0-60, 7 secs aprox. but once it hit 60 it shot like a bullet!

It depends on where the power curve is there might be a ton of pull at the top end. where your going to end up doing 100 even though it might be the top end of 2nd or third

Is that your GTP in your gallery??

I have the same wheels on my aurora.....any problems with the clearcoat flaking off on yours???

nice work BTW.

The Viper looks amazing. But I have to question the "Hennessey 750HP" badge. It just looks totally out of place and doesn't flow with the car at all. Very nice detail, though.

That's just what my old boss told me from the people at Hennessey Performance.

Yes, that is my GTP in the gallery. The clearcoat is only flaking in one or two spots on my wheels. I bought them slightly used and the first owner didn't take too good of care of them. I spent 2 hours per wheel bringing each one back. They look amazing now.

I agree, but it does look much better in person. I'm not the greatest cameraman either... :o
