Finished detailing this 1967 Ferrari 330 GT in a Dark Olive Green. The car was restored and repainted about 3 years ago. I guess the last body shop/detailer left a good amount of buffer trails around the vehicle and the car had a good amount of hazing and swirls. I spent 13-14 hours over two days getting this classic back to par. The second day I used a second/different set of halogen light as my other ones are dead. I did some engine detailing but didn’t take pics. The interior was just a quick wipe down, leather cleaning and vacuum, again forgot to snag pics. Both days I worked on the car there was no sun to be found :(

Process:

ONR Wipedown and then Clay.

HT EC / SIP (30/70 mix) with Orange Cut Pad @ 1500rpms

SIP with white polish pad @ 1500rpms

106FF with blue finesse pad @ 1500rpms

FK425 Wipedown

Zymol Ital

All chrome hand (including wheels) hand polished with Flitz

Windows cleaned with IG

Stunning, the side by sides under halogen really show how wet your prep work looks. Well all the halogen after pics are amazingly wet.

Not knowing that much about older Ferrari's i wasn't expecting the look of that very elegant body, sure is a pleasant suprise. Looks like a 007 whip.

OMG, that car is gorgeous!! one of my all time favorites! you did a great job on it! im pretty sure you brought it back to "par"!!:bigups

You sir, are amazing.

I think I might drool for a while now, that car is just awesome! Those tires are the PERFECT amount of shine, that paint looks amazing.

What did you use on the tires?

Zaino Z16. Pics were taken about 30 minutes after application.

Once again, you have taken a dream car of mine to the next level. Your work and attention to detail is simply beyond reproach. I do have question...

I noticed you used SIP on a white pad and finished down with 106 on the blue. Is this your normal process (I found SIP is great on an orange pad and 106 on the white) or was there a particular reasoning behind this? Great work Chris!!!
