Foam app. what's best

All,
what 's best for foam application?

Foam Cannon type add on to press washer lance (small electric pw)

Gilmour type foam bottle

Tornador type foam thingie (have 10 SCFM air compressor)

I've got the Gilmour now, and it's pretty decent. Looking forward to getting a power washer and foam cannon, though. Love the idea of the shaving cream consistency foam. :D

so does anyone have an opinion, it the foam cannon on a pw better or worse than a Tornador, of some model, on a 3 hp, 60 gal compressor 10 scfm?
 
Isn't the tornador an interior cleaning thing? Or do they have one for foaming the exterior?

I have both a Gilmour foam gun as well as a lance. The lance on a pressure washer is much better at creating clingy foam. I can foam a car, and while it sits I can fill my wash/rinse buckets, then come back and rinse the car Then proceed to wash. The foam holds on for a good 5 minutes. With the Gilmour you're lucky to get a minute before the foam rolls off. But it has its place. Sometimes I'll wash with one rinse bucket, and spray each panel as I go with fresh soap while washing with the other hand. Kinda takes some getting used to but it works well
 
That's similar to what I do, Shane. Spray down a quarter of the car with foam, wash, rinse, and then move on. Saves a lot of time. I'm with you on the time the foam lasts.

I hope this is allowed, I found this gun Pinnacle Tornador Air Foamer HP, Pinnacle Foam Gun, Tornador foam gun

It is one of several similar items, what the differences in application are, I don't know. I do see a slightly different one that seems to be precisely for upholstery, carpet, dash cleaning.
