Why not, let's be wild! What latest experiments did you do? Or imagined to do?

Mine were;

- On my side view mirrors, cleaned, clayed (bugs), polished w/ DACP, 3M SMR, 3M PI-III Finishing Glaze, P21S CW.

- On the hood, Menzerna IP, rotary w/ Fareclas Polishing Pad, Menzernas FP, PC w/ Megs Finishing Pad, Klasse AIO 2x by hand, Klasse SG 3x (24H between coats).

- On the roof, 1Z Paint Polish, PC w/ Megs Polishing Pad, 1Z Glanz Wax, and latter (3 weeks) Grojet2000 1x, (looks perfect :scared )

- On the trunk, after 2 months of AIO + SG, 1 coat of Menzernas Sealing Wax.

- On the rest of the car, AIO + Winners Choice Finishing Cream.

Others

Exterior trim, 1Z vinyl/rubber; tires Concept Contour; rims Groject2000; windows EO 20/20.

Happy new year :)

Nice reflections...I'm trying to decide whether my next car should be dark-colored to get a shine like yours or keep it silver like my current car.

How do you like the Winner's Choice?

How do you like the Winner's Choice?

Very much! Very easy to use and very glossy! I have it on my other car for more than a month and it still beads and looks fine. I'll wait for the spring to test the 'anti-static' characteristic (pollen :shocked )

My current 'wettest' look combo is Vanilla Moose and Carnauba Moose:

For gloss and reflectivity, Klasse AIO/UPP

Best durable comprimise between reflections vs wet is Poorboy's PwC and EX Sealant:

Scott...How long does it take you to decide what combo you are going to use on a customer's car?? After seeing your fantastic results I guess I would compare it to choosing a fine wine :D

:nixweiss It is more instinct than anything else. It depends on the color, how much the vehicle is driven and how often they get it waxed.

I've become hooked on VM followed by Souveran. I have Moose Carnuba also but prefer the Pinnacle for the most scientific of reasons, which is that I love the smell of the Pinnacle! Actually, the Moose Carnuba wax is darn good, the Souveran is just a bit richer in appearance (which is probably why it makes you poorer to buy!).

How Moose Carnubad compare to P21s? I have P21s and Natty, should I (silly guestion) get some Moose Carnuba too. I mean, will a see a differance between them?

The differences aren't huge, but CMW is a bit deeper and darkens the color slightly. S100 is more reflective and doesn't seem to affect the color of the paint.

BW, one of this days I'll order Zaino from Germany. What kept me from doing that is exactly what your post says, you can't experiment. Though it may be tops, better than anything else, it would be a problem for me to repeat the same products and procedures 2 or 3 times a year and that's it.

As I explained on my original post my car has a lot of different combos on it, something fun to do. That would not be possible with Zaino. (But I'll buy it anyway sooner or latter ;) ).

I know, I know, what you were asking for. I¡Â¦ve certainly experimented a lot before, but found out I was just going in circles, much of the observations being mental.

You can use Zaino like any other product. I think the problem is how the Zaino site and users can overcomplicate the process. 24 hour curing time without Z1, Z6 between ever layer¡K blah! It¡Â¦s just what Sal recommends, because in his opinion, that¡Â¦s the best method. No one is telling you to follow his directions; you could just as easily experiment and try your own method of application. IMO this is one of the differences between Klasse and Zaino ¡V perceived complication... what if Z was sold like Klasse with only ¡Â§wipe-on, wipe-off¡Â¨ directions on the bottle?

The reason I say ZFX + Z5 is that after trying all these new combos (AIO + Z5, glaze + Z5, Z2 + Souveran + P21S, whatever), once I go back and try ZFX + Z5, it surprises me how good it is alone.

Ok BW, guess you're right, It's people who make it complicated. Someday...

Klasse SG was ratter complicated till recently.

(by the way, did you check the regional settings on the control panel tab on your computer? I get strange characters on your posts. Just make sure it's English everywhere there)

I want to clarify. I’m not plainly saying ZFX + Z5 because Sal says so. It is from experimentation, it is from messing around. It is just that after trying so many new things, the ZFX + Z5 combo works best for me.

(Yep, it’s United States English everywhere)

Hey BW, is it possible to use something different than the Z5 to remove swirls (like Menzerna Intesive Polish or DACP) then go back to the ZFX + Z2. What is your thought on Blackfire or vanilla moose on a Black 2003 Truck?

Absolutely. ZFX + Z5 is after the prep. So go ahead and polish with IP or DACP or whatever you find necessary, and then do the ZFX + Z5 combo.

Magnum Top gear long life instant shine sealant (2 hour curing time) it seals rock hard and is easy to remove and no white residue
