Which Zaino Polish Looks Best On Dark Cars

Isn't Z5 a paint cleaner? Only Z2 is the polish as far as I understand it ?

I don't especially like the look of any Z on dark colors, especially very dark colors. If I'm going strictly for appearance I'll drop a Carnauba on it like Meg's #26 or S100 or if I want a polymer I'd go for NXT because it also darkens the color.
This is all boils down to ones personal taste. Here is the look I go for. This was done with NXT. Notice the deep warm darkening of the black color.
Now please let's not get into a hissy fit over my not liking Z on dark colors. I do like the highly reflective wet look of Z on light colors. It's all a matter of the look you are going after and how important durability is to you. It's all good and this is not an anti Z post.

His question wasn't whether or not you liked Zaino, it is "what is the best zaino polish for dark cars?" There really is no place for what you posted in this thread.
To answer your question, z5 will look the best on your dark paint IMO. Also to whoever said z5 is a cleaner and z2 is a polish, that is wrong.

The only difference between Z5 and Z2 is the minor filling ability (surface blemish masking properties) of Z5. Z2-PRO has some Z5-like filling ability. Both are very minor in terms of their corrective ability. With a good surface prep there would be very little visual difference between the Z5 and its cousins Z2 and Z2-PRO.
As mentioned earlier if you want to alter the hue of your vehicle (the same paint with the same prep is under both a sealant or a carnauba) you may not like the "true" presentation that Zaino is protecting.
The best way to darken the hue or better stated allow the color basecoat to present itself in its full glory is to clear-up (polish) the clearcoat to its maximum clarity (how the CC appeared when the vehicle was new). If this goal is not achieve, one will never get the full presentation of one's paint with a sealant like Zaino in terms of gloss, wetness, hue trueness, depth and reflectivity. Otherwise a LSP with more optical corrective ability maybe required.:wavey

kempie, blkZ28Conv hadboosttroy thx for your responses. When the weather breaks, I will go clay, Menzerna IP, Menzerna FP2, then Z2Pro. I'll test it against FMJ, which so far I like.

I think the difference between those two products is apparent, Z5 is different to Z2 in that it is used to help fill/cover swirl marks and fine scratches.

Fillers can be a a higher concentration of the polymer resins which probably impacts a different density when cured. The newer Z5 is almost as glossy and reflective as the old Z2. The new Z2-PRO seems to have properties of both Z2 (but higher gloss, wetness and depth) and Z5 (filling ability).

Do you think layering Z5 underneath Z2Pro for a titanium car would be worth it, or should I go directly to Z2Pro?
Any loss in durability or shine if Z5 is put under Z2Pro or is the difference too minor to tell?
