What would YOU Charge?

can you say 10+ hours of work?

but what is your buddy looking for?

paint perfection?

undercarrage cleaned and shiny?

full interior detail?

$300 would be my Min price, friend or not.

$500-600 would be for my best work.

Paint cleaned up and sealed, Hes not worried about the Undercarrige as he is changing things around anyways. but he wants the interior done, everything except hot water extraction because i dont have the equipment to do it.

A little on the "pass by" business, I get it all the time at one of my locations.

I wash 4 vehicles at a real estate company, right off a main road. Not extremely busy, but busy enough. I actually spend about an hour talking to people that pull in the parking lot...

Sometimes it gets frustrating, and I just pick the vehicles up and take them to my place to do them...LOL

But I book about 2 jobs every week from passers........

I get a good amount to wash these 4 vehicles from the Real Estate company, that I would take a pay cut from them, just to stay in that location! Sounds dumb, but it is paying for itself....

I understand that kind of pickup from the drive by. From what I understand, he's talking about it being parked out there *after* he's done detailing it and picking up business. That's not likely.

OK, guess I was looking at it differently.

BTW, Congrats on being picked as one of the three to win the UDM!!!!!!!:woohoo:

You mention light polish... I would do a AIO job on that bad boy for at LEAST $300, Id lean more towards 350-400 exterior only of course. If I was to dedicate a polish pass THEN go to a wax/seal.... $450-500 depending on the condition of the paint.

Good luck!

*edit*

If I was to do interior... add another $100.
