-apply a coat of paste wax as fast as you can
-don`t buff out
-let bake under the sun
-never look back

Just polish one panel to perfection. And seal the whole truck with something good, but not costly, maybe FK1000p, BFWD, or Poorboy`s similar. No one will notice the panel and in a month that perfectly polished panel will look only marginally better than the rest.
