what to use and when advice please!!!

im fairly new to the detailing game and i need your advice???

ive recently purchased a vw passat estate(variant in the usa)

its second hand and the previous owner must of been scared of washing it by hand as it is covered in swirls from automatic carwashes!!which is a big:nono :nono :nono in my opinion!!

now so far ive acquierd the following..... meguiars stage 1 paint cleaner, meguiars stage 2 polish , scratch x, clay bar and quick detailer,gold class wax and some poorboys ssr2 as recommende by alex from serious performance uk !!

can you recommend an order to use this lot in so i can get my car looking like new and with a shine to kill for :xyxthumbs .

the car colour is metallic inky blue if that makes any difference??

i havent got a electric buffer as ive spent all my money on the car:sosad so everything will be done by hand (im not expecting perfection on the first application either!!)

please help a noowbie:bow

From looking what you have there (and assuming you want to use all the products you have) I'd go:



Wash

Clay

SSR2

Scratch X

Megs DC 1

Megs DC 2

GC Wax



You can probably leave the DC 1 out though as Scratch X will do just as an effective job IMO.

no unfortunatley i dont have a pc but im willing to put in a lot of effort!!!!
