What exactly is Meguiar's "Final Detail"?

The possible side effects of the silicone was what I was wondering about. Not being a Zaino user, I had never heard about the silicone avoidance.

On the vehicles that I use Platinum UPP on, I use Platinums Gloss Enhancer QD as well. A little bit like you in that I too am somewhat conservative. If S100 had a QD, it's likely I would be using it on the S100 vehicle. If you use what the manufacturer provides, it seems like you should be able to expect compatibility. That has always, to me, been a strong point of Meguiar's. Whether you like their products or not, they do seem to work well together.

I've added two layers of SG since I got my FD with no problems. granted this wasn't done immediately after spraying the car with FD but for how I use it I see no problems with using FD with Klasse at least
 
From what i understand, no, becuase FD has silicones in it, it has issues with the SG bonding. I ordered the klasse concours kit from CMA, came with the sonus, so i will use that between layers, and use my FD after every wash. hope this helps
