What $83 gets you....

I had $83 burning a hole in my pocket so I decided to get some of the Zaino products and a new bottle of Dawn.



I got Z-2, Z-5, Z-6, Z-7, Z-14, and ZFX. Also a new bottle of dawn liquid concentrate. Why does the color of the dawn and Z-7 look so much alike...please tell me they are different products using the same coloring. Too bad my distributer didn't have any Z-12 glass polish.

ZFX wow $19.95 for such a small bottle, hope it lives up to its claim, like the steak from Kobe Japan $150 or so for 8 oz I heard.

ZFX may be a bit costly. but the results of 3 coats and improved durability are really amazing, so that justifies the cost in my mind. Have fun with your new Z goodies!



Hmm, Sal must have added the ZFX sticker as my kit didn't come with one! :(

Is supposed to treat 2 to 3 bottles of Zaino polish. That's about 80 drops or more per vial. It goes farther than it looks...
 
That small bottle is supposed to treat 16 oz of Z.



So that one kit can treat my bottle of Z-2 and Z-5.

I thought ZFX had only 40 drops in the bottle and treated 16-18 oz?



It took 2 WEEKS to have my order shipped! It'll finally be here on Monday:)

The ZFX doesn't seem to be that bad then, as long as you get a decent amount for a fair price.... 3 layers a day would be perfect for me, exactly what I was hoping for.
 
I got mine the same day, well yesterday and this morning.



I went by the dist. around 12:45 yesterday picked up the Z-6 and Z-14. I used Z-6 on my vac, then, Z-14, then hit it with Z-6 again. I was blown away. Really slick and shiny. Called up the dist at 7 in the morning, went by at 7:45 to pick it up. Then off to school.



Kicks butt to have a local distributer!

Er . . . to get my order to me, not shipped. I mailed the check last Monday _morning_ before mail pickup and it wasn't shipped until 2 days ago. I thought Zaino was known for quick shipping! It won't be here until Monday according to tracking, and that's with Sal's usual 3 day UPS!
 
I need to get Zaino. Maybe that will be my next purchase. I'm still waiting for my stinking Stoner's order to get here. Grrrr..... They say it will be here Monday. I hate you east coasters for having everything at your finger tips. Out west we gotta wait on pins and needles for everything.
 
Grats Jason! I just got my ZFX stuff this week as well. ZFX, Z-2, Z-5, Z-6 (2) & Z-7 (2). Hopefully will have time this weekend, I’m dying to try it out!!

Yea but out west you guys have ALOT more speed shops. I'm talking a ratio of 20 to 1. We have shops here that sell 14 inch chrme hubcaps and maybe some steering wheel covers in hot pink. You guys also have the upper hand in weather, speeds shops as I already said, car shows etc...



I wish I was out there in Cali sometimes but I like South Boston alot, what would I do without my akscent??? :)
 
I'll probably try it out next week. I will practice getting the paint perfect with a rotary and polish, follow up with the PC and polish, dawn wash, and then Z away.



Jngrbrdman, you got Meguiar's and Mother's on the west coast....
 
According to one of the Zaino distributors, the small ZFX vial is good enough to mix 3 bottles of polish. I always thought it was good for 2 bottles..... guess not.

This is why we drive imports on the west coast and you drive Mercedes and Lexus on the east. :) Actualyl, that probably has nothing to do with it. Its funny that they sell more performance stuff out here and yet they sell less stuff to take care of all the performance. After you dump 15,000 dollars into your Civic wouldn't you want it to look good after? I guess being a detailer in Cali will be really good business. :D
